No.....it just happened to be a long, drawn out theory, and....he P/M'ed me aboot something else, anyway.

What I told him were:
On the '68 wiring diagram, there are two wires for the amp gauge: one black, one black w/white stripe. Both of them go to the voltage regulator for the alt. Both of them also have fuse-links in them. I suggested checking these fuse-links, as it could be the source of his problem. He also has a horn issue....there is one wire(dark green) that comes off of the v. regulator, and goes to......... wanna guess
