.................. in the world can't explain what I've just gone through for the past hour. I blew an accessory fuse and have been trying to get that son-of-a-***** out for the past hour. I dropped the fuse puller into hell to never been seen again, either that or the car just ate it. I think I bruised a rib laying across the rocker panel area and I almost choked from holding the penlight in my mouth. Of course it would have to be the upper most fuse, I can barely get an arm up in there

Mark...get a coat hanger, cut a piece aboot 7-8 eenches long, and make a hook on one end. More like the letter "L" than a complete hook, tho. Then you can bend the rest to any shape needed to get up yonder, get behind one end of da fuse, and snap it oot.
Be shoor tho, dat youse disconnectes da batry furst, doh...
I cain't help none with getting ya up in there easier, tho..."Have you called Jenny Craig?"

I know your frustration Mark !
Sometimes times I think it would be easier to remove the seat ( only 4 bolts ) to get to the fuse than it is standing on my head in there !
I've got some of those dental picks and they seem to work to the stuck ones out

just wait till you try and put it back in.problem being once you get
your hand in there you can't see. i dropped about a half dozen putting
it back. but here is how i managed to get them out and it has part of
what joel suggested. i used a test light. it already has the wire on it
if you drop it and the point is sharp enough to get in one side of fuse
and pop it out. this reminds me of getting the # 6 plug back in on the
90. took over a half hour. hope this helps.

When I replaced my carpet I found what was left of at least a dozen fuses that had been drop into no-where land throughout its life. Why don't the designers think of the repair guy's issues when putting these things where they do?

I use this magnet thing that looks like a pen and streches like an old tv antenna. The tip is small and magnetized. I can also attach a small dentist like mirror to it. One of the best 2$ I've spent!
I found this thing REALLY helpful when I removed half of the interior and knock my screw cup out. Most screws ended up under the seat.
I never choked myself with a pen light, but I sure remembere how my rib cage felt spending 1 hour over the rocker panel.

Sounds like I'll be doing some more shopping at Carlisle this weekend.
I've seen those telescoping magnets and swivel mirrors there before.
Better get some fuses too.
I've got a coat hanger. It's holding up my muffer!
