Vette(s): 1970 stingray, t-top, mulsanne blue with black interior, 406 ci with 444 hp, racing suspension, hooker headers/sidepipes - SOLD :(
so I'm completely rebuilding the engine in my 77 vette if you haven't seen my posts in engine...so. tryin to get her around 700-750 HP with a blower, low 10 second quarter. some of the parts I've picked out include
AFR 210cc SB-Chevy Cylinder Heads (033-1103, www.jegs.com)
Jacobs Electronics Ultra Coil (566-380876, www.jegs.com)
MSD Billet and Pro-Billet Distributors (121-8360 OR 121-8356, www.jegs.com)
Any opinions on these, as well as other choices for electrical and ignition parts, would be appreciated. The one question I do have is what kind of spark plug wires I should be using. Jegs has...SB-Chevy w/Wires Below Headers/Manifolds...and SB-Chevy w/Wires Over Valve Covers. once I know which of those two styles I should be usin, I can go onto exactly what wires.

I believe the wires under the valve covers are more for an original type installation where the wires are shielded to keep interference noise out of the radio. I doubt if a radio is even in your car since you're racing it, so shielding is a moot point.
Go with whichever you prefer for ease of installation or appearance. I doubt if it will make any difference performance-wise.

Gunslinger is right. Without a radio, go with the easy install. It will also be easier to repair when needed. And with that much power, you will need repairs.

naw, it's got a CD/MP3 player with it. It's a car I like to enjoy, and as for dragging, I'm not too concerned about it. The most important thing is that I enjoy the car.

I run my wires over the valve covers and I got a alpine cd/mp3 player. I dont have any noise or interference problems. I do run a high output coil. Just make sure you got a good ground on your alternator, engine block and radio and you should not have a problem with interferance. Multi amps will complicate things though in order to get a good radio signal.
