82CE Center Guage Cluster Bulb

  Anyone know if we have a map light and how to turn it on?  I cannot find it in the owners manual - not listed in the "Lamp Bulb Data"  BUT, Mid America sells it - part 612-908.

Don't want to take my center gauge console out to see if a bulb exists if I don't know how to make it work...

  Thanks, that helps a lot.  I will take the guage console out and check the bulb....order a new one if thats the problem....explains why I could never figure out how to turn it on

You can get the bulb at NAPA.

 I will check the bulb # on the box later when I get home. I believe its a #33 bulb. I replaced mine last year. I looks similiar to a #194 but has like a "lens" molded in at the tip, that helps to "focus" in the light. It's nice being able to see the heater controls at night. 

The lamp housing was melted in mine due to P.O. using a #194 bulb. So I don't recommend using a #194.

thanks Sarge, let me know .... mine light works but is very dim....not usable, and certainly does not light up the console.

Now you did it...   Mine stoped working.

Another small item to fix. 

It's a #558 bulb.

Sorry 'bout the delay. I've been going nuts looking for the box and spare bulb I bought at NAPA awhile ago. Still can't find 'em. But I got the bulb # out of the owners manual. Go figure.

Now I can fix it before my trip. 

The bulb was easy to change out.   I bought extra just in case.
