82 Cruise control that wont disengage

The brake switch kills the power to the electrical portion of the CC, but it also has a vacuum switch that "dumps" the vac. off of the servo connected to the carb linkage.

Heres one for ya Joel, how about a cruise control that continually gains speed 
Set it at 60, few mins later its at 65 then if I wait long enough its at 70, any ideas?

Probably a transducer issue, Mark. The transducer is on the driver side fenderwell, and had the speedo cable(s) coming and going from it. Could be dirty on the inside, or the grease has hardened. That would mean replacement, or repair.
It may be a longshot, but the servo(vac. acuator) may have a (small)hole in it, also, or the regulator isn't regulating.
