81 vette project

On an 81 two tone of autumn red and dark claret what color is the divider line

I know that color combo.....

It's a tape stripe orange/red.  It's being reproduced by a tape vendor, Phoenix Graphics.

I have that same photo saved.  It's of a low mileage car Corvette Mike sold.

does anyone know of a good corvette junk yard that would have 81 parts.  I need two wiring harness extensions from the engine wiring harness where some critters got a hold of the wiring.

I need the starter harness extension and the carburetor extension.

Letric Limited has all that stuff.

actually they dont.  I called them first.  they told me "no one is making the carb extension", that is a junk yard part. 

they do make the starter extension but it is $85 for 6 strands of wire, 18" long.

Painless isnt either and all the corvette places I called sell one or the other.

They had C3 parts, but now only list from C4 up to C7.
