Cassette was phased in in 1979. My 79 came from the factory with an 8 track. Dealer installed a GM cassette for the original owner. Black Book states about 12,000 sold.
I've also used one of those right angle ratcheting screwdrivers to get at that one screw, and I put it back in, too!
