Thanks to all who replied on the front spoiler. I kept the extensions, and will use them again.
I have the electric fan, did not measure or look close, but it looks like 6 blade, and large diameter.
The door flapper is on the bottom also. I put an Eckler's mew spoiler on, of which I will replace, very flimsy.
L-82 auto trans, equipped with A/C.
With the spoiler extensions off, the temp guage now is showing engine running about 5 degrees cooler after normal driving. Can you factor this in ?
The spoiler extensions were riveted on the original piece. Also, on the original spoiler, there is also a
re-inforcing metal piece running each half length of the spoiler, and the extra pieces are below this.
This is not exactly a late 79, as it was manuf. 4/79. |saluteflag| |saluteflag|

The electric fan on my L-82 is large diameter, and looks heavy. I did not measure. If I were you, I would get one of the smaller new units, which is much lighter, and should put out more rpm's, with lighter blade, or go to a dual fan set up. |saluteflag|

it seems we have gotten off topic, I would suggest that you might get more responses if you posted your question in the Heating and Cooling section of the forums.
