Vette(s): Used to own a 1979 Corvette now owned by JB79
 bondgirl42 said: Hi everyone,

Our '79 is the original Corvette Light Blue. I know this color wasn't very common (only about 3,100 out of the 53,000), and we haven't seen another one that color.

Anyone out there have one that color?

Thanks!

If you go to the C3 Registry Data link under the "Tools" menu, you can do a query to find any C3s registered here that have that color. Just pick the correct criteria for Model Year and Original Color. I ran the query and found 4 1979s... which leads me to my next point... you have not added your C3 to the registry yet. Please go to "My C3 Registration" under the "My Account" menu to enter your info.

Thanks!

Vette(s): ...
I have seen a light blue model of 79 before too. Also saw a white and blue 81 white on top and blue on the bottom, much like the Silver anniversary 78. By the way I don't see the picture of your vette, Sheryl. I'm having the same problem with the link url and image from both yahoo photos and now photogra.com .So lot's of us as standard members are having the same problem too |cheers|I've put my photos in villagephotos.com now and the url link is on both the front and back of it and it works. |cheers| |cheers|

Thanks for the nice words. I can't see your picture either--got an error message. I'm still trying to get my picture to work. It's in my Yahoo photo album (yahoo im = bondgirl_sam), so I just put the link to the photo album because it won't let me put the entire link directly to the picture on here--the link is outrageously long!

Anyway, hopefully it's working now and I can quit messing with it. LOL

bondgirl42

One question: when I put the url tags by the address, do I need to put the url tag at the end too? Thanks!

Thanks!! It's my first vette and I've only had it 1.5 weeks. It was a one owner.

I've actually been looking for some more info on the t-top carriers. The previous owner told me they were special ordered from the dealer. I have the original receipt, but it doesn't give a part#. All it lists is...
1- Luggage Rack (SO)
1- T-Cushion

I was told it was a dealer accessory, that had to be special ordered. The receipt is dated 7/20/81. I wish I knew more. |ohwell|
