When I picked up my 77 a month or so ago, the carpet had already been removed and tossed. My question is, in the rear compartment, are there any "panels" that go in there, that the carpet attaches to, or does it just get glued to the body work itself? Just trying to make sure I am not missing any parts.
Thanks

Other than the three compartments there are no other panel in the back of the 77.
Good luck with it.

The assembly instruction manual is helpful for showing you carpet installation, but it is not the best source you can use. Rear carpets simply glue down. Since the carpets are already out of your car, I would recommend getting a heat barrier kit and installing it before putting in the new carpet. Heat barriers are worth the money in Sharks. Good luck.

i have a 77 L-82 and the back has just been replaced. It had clips that hold in the carpet. you should see the holes where they go.Thats the way my 77 is.
