76 rear defogger

I recently purchased a 76 vette that has a rear defogger from the factory. My question is how do you turn it on?

I'm not real sure but isn't there a black rocker switch on the front side area of the console (underneath the key area)?

There is a black rocker switch there. That must be it.

Dave if it is there, yes that is the switch. That is where the factory installed them.
