Vette(s): 1975 Corvette Stingray coupe with T-Tops
I was wondering if there is another column I can swap out with that isn't telescopic from another gm vehicle and will bolt right in it's place.
the problem I'm having is with the tilt spring, the steering wheel has over an inch of travel up and down, and thats with out using the tilt lever!
it is loose, the mechanic at the local garage wanted to replace the spring, but the part is no longer available, or atleast I haven't been able to locate one. can anyone assist me with this nuisance problem?

have you tried the corvette salvage yards? I'm sure that paragon repoduction has what your looking for
