Hey gang, My vette is in the paint shop and I have the opportunity to get my bumpers re chromed and other bright parts worked on, i noticed my front grills need some love. I'm sure there is a thread here that someone has restored these themselves or had them done by someone. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks! Jason

The chrome shop doing the bumpers should be able to do the grills, also. The grills are fully chromed to start with, and then the front edges buffed/polished, masked off, then the rest painted. You could ask whomever is doing the bumpers, and see if they can handle the grills.Just be aware that the grills are a different type of metal....they are cast aluminuminum, or "pot" metal.
