I am putting my interior back together and have plugged all the wires in related to the steering column.
There is a radio supression capacitor attached to the column that I have not plugged in yet. There is a dark brown wire on the main dash harness all by itself. Is this the wire that plugs in to the capacitor?
This is not the capacitor for the stop light switch. It is a seperate unit mounted on the column switch underneath.
Thank you for your help guys.

Yeah I think so. Mine has been out twice recently. The brown wire is 12 gauge...very thick compared to the capacitor lead. Yes the wire diagram shows it as the radio suppression cap....

Thank you!
I started by just wanting to replace the carpeting. Now I will have redone the entire interior. Hope to be on the road in a couple of weeks!
