Hi guys, I need help on the factory alarm system on my 70 coupe. Can someone send me a diagram of it, or explain how it's supposed to work? I believe all the parts are on the car. Horn, relay and flasher are behind the passenger seat and all connected. Where does it start from at the fuse block? The diagrams I have do not show  it........  Thanks   Tom

The diagram will be correct, but the actual wire colors may be different for the year models. I'll add that the "control switch" in the diagram is the fender or taillight panel mounted key switch, in case that's not readily apparent to everyone, and the "anti-theft" switch will NOT be on the '70 model, as far as I know. The anti-theft switch is the switch that is located directly below the key switch in the fender. It's purpose is to engage the system if the key-switch is pryed out of the fender(or rear panel)...sort of a fail-safe, back-up switch. I don't think they used that set-up until '73-'74, but I may be wrong.
Other than that, the schematic will be the same for all of the Sharks, except the later cars that also had the t-tops wired into the system...those do not have the on/off key switch on the fenders...the switch is incorporated into the door locks.

btw...the "anti-theft" switch is the same exact type switch used as the headlight warning switch...
