First off THANX all for the information shared here.
I need all the help I can get. Ended 2004 by purchasing a 1969 Coupe project to keep me out of trouble.
Now to the issue at hand. while looking through parts manuals, a belt guide reinforcement is listed but no belt guide. From what I gather it is not available. Can anyone explain what it looks like. Can it be fabricated easily?

Not sure which guide you are looking for, but there 2 areas that have guides. For the shoulder belt there is a guide in the upper part of the seat back that the belt slides into to hold it in place. There is also a reinforcement guide that sits under the seats

Which belt is is it for? My manual does not show a listing. Are you referring to the male, door side, belt reinforcement under the seat?

There are supposedly 3 reinforcements per belt.
A quick look at Corvette America Lisings
Rein. underbody inner L/R - against tunnel
Rein. underbody Outer L/R - under seat
Seat belt guide rein. L/R - just under sill
This reinforcement is riveted to tub and has two threaded nuts to attach??
It shows it in assembly manual pages 61 and 134

Hi Dads69,
I checked my 82 and saw mounting points for inboard and outboard seatbelt anchors only. I didn't see any other mounting points for "seatbelt guides". I think the floorpan was changed during the mid 70's. Maybe somebody with a chrome bumper shark can help you.
Take care,
Toms82

Hi Toms82.
Dropped in to Corvettes and Classics in Taunton. One of the mechanics had a 69 interior apart there (LUCKY ME!!). Found out it's a one year only part. It's a plate that bolts to the reinforcement under the carpet just below the sill. Other years have a rod type guide. My part is no longer available and did not come with the car I bought. (UNLUCKY ME). Hope I can find someone with a parts car.
