Can anyone tell me how to remove the headrest from a 69'. I can see a guide and a small ear on the side of the headrest shaft, but I don't see how to get it past the stop. HELP!!

Hmm... mine might be broken, but they will come out with a firm tug. a PO may have ruined the latch? Maybe someone else has been there

I had to cock it preety hard to the left to get it out. Ther eis a piece of spring steel that rides on the opposite side if the tab. This one has been re welded back together at the headrest guide.. Now on the the seat cover replace.
