My courtesy lights will not go off any suggestions where to look to solve this problem

Check the switches in the door jamb, they are most likely the culprit. There is on forward and one at the rear of the door in the jamb.

Yeah, that's correct. They work by creating a ground for the circut when pushed in, so you could also have a short that is making the ground too. I would start with the switches though (both doors).

The one at the rear of the door jamb is used for the door adjar, so concentrate your search starting at the front of the jamb closest to the hinge
