Just got back from a car show in Plano Texas. I finally found the correct 1968 Corvette and set up for the door panel inner widow seal.   rubber/ felt,/ metal support/,etc. The 1968 manual does not even show the correct procedure for this.  I am speaking of the inner window rubber. One of the 68 had what I was needing and cannot find it anywhere.
It is the rubber seal that is stapled to the door panel (inner window seal) and then the felt is on the metal support that is attached to the inside part of the door. The rubber helps hide the view of where the metal support is attached. Without it you can look from outside down into the door between the door panel and the door window.
The catalogs tell you they have the inner window seal/felt (staple on door panel) But when you look at the picture they will only show the metal support with the felt (fuzzys) This is not stapled to the door panel. I ordered from Chicago Corvette what I thought was right, but I only got the felt (fuzzys).
So does anyone have just the rubber that is stapled to the door panel. The catalogs are so deceiving.
I Need A Rubber, or two
