The bag may be mounted in different locations, mainly according to A/C or not, and whether or not the vehicle has the aluminuminum surge tank for the radiator. With A/C and without the surge tank it should be on the pass side, but with the surge tank there is no room on the pass side, so it goes on the driver side. Several variables on where the thing is mounted, and how. I'll see if I can get a pic of the different locations this evening when I get home.
The presence of the surge tank depends on the engine installed, which dictates what radiator is used.

Hi Edward... that is the same as my '68. they did not put the expansion tanks on the SB air conditioned cars in '68.... at least as far as I have read. But then I have found out that most anything could have happened during a build! Nothing too much is written in stone about these cars!

No problem Bob... I see you are from Woodland, I grew up just down the freeway in Vancouver! Had our 40th class reunion there a couple weekends ago. Thanks for all your posts!

The L88 was the ONLY engine in '68 with the expansion tank, so the washer bag would be on the passenger side on all cars in '68. The A/C cars did use the bag, and non-A/C cars had a plastic bottle.....or so the book says.
