Iirc, the '68 bag was different from the other years. With A/C, I think they were mounted on the driver side fender, behind the horn relay, and are a pita to fill, since it sits up under the fender lip. If you have the radiator surge tank, the washer bag is definitely on the driver side. Without the surge tank they were on the passenger side, if memory serves....

That's the way mine is.  72 A/C LT-1.  I haven't filled the washer bag in years.

well thanks for the input but if Adam is correct then the bag that rraider1 is showing is incorrect and I'm still not sure about location I did find what looks like a hot water bottle in the fender well on the passenger side .The type that ford used in some vehicles in The 60s

this is just from parts suppliers it would be nice if someone with a 68 could take a picture of what's in their baby or from an AIM

My '68 w/air washer bag is on the passenger side inside fender well, hooked to two clips on the inside upper wheel well.  I fairly certain I have the original the bag.  It is logoed with the chev bowtie, and has a windshield emblem at the top of the bag.  Hope this helps.

Thanks rraider I saw that illustration from Keen but I wasn't sure there was any room for it my the eng bay & thank you California68 .Is your bag like the one show and where on the wheel well is it mounted if I look under my fender there is a vac relay valve mounted on the wheel well across from the a/c valve seems like insufficient room

Yes, it is exactly like the first link Bob posted above the '68 with air.  The last link showing the bag with the logo is exactly like mine.  It is tucked up out of the way, a bit tight, but that is how they were built.
