I have something here I been meaning to "pass" out to ya'll...just haven't had the time. Did ya ever wonder, when looking at wiring diagrams, WHERE this or that connector is? The diagrams will call out a connector as something like "C204", or "S204"(C= connector, S=splice).
Anyway, GM has a numbering system that tells where in the vehicle the connector/splice is, such as in the engine compartment, passenger compartment, trunk, etc. Those of us that do a lot of wiring troubleshooting get good after a while of locating these connectors, just by the number. Saves a ton of time if ya know where the dang thing is to start with!
Anyway, just thought I'd share this chart with ya'll. It won't do a lot of good for the Shark cars, since the diagrams for those are fairly simple, as far as connectors go, but they are valid for all later GM products, so if ya got a '84-up Vette, or any other GM vehicle, it will help.
Enjoy!

Those year models('69 & '71), the diagrams are too large for e-mail.
Once again, here's the ones that we CAN e-mail, along with the ones we can't ...
53/4
72-75
77-82
These files are e-mail "friendly"
55-71
These files are pretty massive.(62-65 files are over 13mb each!! The 68-9 are 11mb each) These I cannot e-mail, but I can send a disc with the complete 53-82 series of diagrams. I sent several out today.
76(over 7mb file size))
