Has anyone had issues with the passenger mirror lights not functioning? The bulbs are good as far as I can tell and the fuse is good. I tried to follow the wiring thru the header cover but couldn't find and breaks.

I had an issue with one several years ago, and found the small wiring to the lamp was damaged about 6 inches from where the visor "hinge" fit up into the top of the A pillar. You may need to remove the side trim from the A pillar to get to it to see if that is what the problem is. Also, and I'm not 100% sure aboot this, the mirror lamps MAY not work with the key off.

Not sure about the 82, but I KNOW on a 93 they work with switch off. Kept running the battery down till I discovered the drain.

Power at the wire coming up the front pass side pilar plus good bulbs is a place to start. If I remember correctly there is a small micro switch on the plastic lid somewhere that turns the light on when you open it, you may want to check the switch and if you have power when the lid is opened.

Thanks all. I'll try your suggestions. I attempted to follow the wiring back to the fuse block but couldn't get past the header trim. It's a small thing but frustrating just the same. Ironically, the lights will probably never get used its just my obsession with fixing stuff that doesn't work.
