1980 L-82 Emblems

I have a silver 1980 L-82 that got repainted before I bought it and the L-82 front fender side emblems are missing. I've checked with Mid-America, Ecklers, GMPartsDirect, etc. and they all said that the emblems have been discontinued and that I should start looking at junk yards and Vette shops. Does anyone know where I can get a set (left and right side) in good shape?

did you try corvette america, corvette central, or corvette depot. they might have something. If you try to look for it in junk yards finding one will be slim to none since they only made just over 5000 l82 in 1980.

Or you can periodically check Ebay under 82 corvette. I have seen them appear on there once in a great while. They were new old stock in the package. And the prices varied. If I spot one on there, I'll give you a heads up.
