Vette(s): 1979 C3 L82 corvette
im located in the newcastle uk,
my car is a 1979 corvette L82 paint coded 52L corvette Yellow. i need the paint formula for this color. I could buy the paint from the US but it doesnt make much sense if i can get the basecoat mixed here in the uk. I could get a body part matched over here but the paint is faded due to sunlight and i would like to have the car back to original color. your help so far on other issues has been great. The knowledge available on this forum is immense thanks again look forward to your responsesBe the first to like this post

Take this picture to your auto paint supplier.
They should have the GM formula to match your '79.

Go here and get the factory codes. http://www.corvettepaintcodes.com/
Takes the codes to your automative paint supplier. They should be able to use those codes to mix your yellow.
