Check to see if you have power/ground (I don't remember which cars do which anymore) to the jamb switches. It is possible that the headlight switch gets power/ground from a separate source from the jamb switches. The other question is does the delay module have a diode making the power flow one direction? If so, switching the leads on it, might allow the door jambs to function properly.

I decided to look at some of my other non working components as they might be related. So I pulled out the console to take a look at the cigar lighter and the power antenna relay. The lighter was easy, not connected and the plug had constant power. Done!
The power antenna is interesting. The wires at the antenna relay are not stock colors. I took a look under the car and the three wires are correct color but the unit was replaced. Pulled the carpet back on the inside shelf area and found the connector from the motor assembly and the wire harness coming from the relay. Unfortunately it had bare wires pushed into the plug wrapped in electrical tape, WOW! Next checked the relay for power and ground. Ground good, power NO. Traced the power, orange wire, to behind and over the console/dash to above the clutch pedal. It terminated in a two wire plug, lets call that plug 1. Plug 1 had second wire coming from plug 2. Plug 2 had a wire going to the interior light delay module. Plug 2 also had a wire going back to plug 1. It was a beautiful circular wire mess that had no POWER source connected. I reconfigured the delay module and antenna relay wires into one connector and plugged it into the spade terminal next to the proper fuse in the panel. Now my interior lights work as designed.

Now, on to getting the power antenna to actually work!
