How many of you have cross flag emblems on your fenders and how many don't? I don't and have seen both.

Early '77 cars had them, the later ones did not. I don't have a clue when the change was made, but it was pretty early in production...

Mine has them but it also had an L82 hood emblems and the vin confirms its an L42 according to the numbers.....

Might as well check on the alrm switch location while you're at it. Beginning with #27373, the switch was moved from the fender to the door lock cylinder.
