My NCRS judging manual says "standard seat material for 75 and 76 is the familiar comfort-weave vinyl" Leather seats are included with the optional Custom Interior. Chuck

Vette(s): 1968 convertible; 1980 L-82. Numbers match on both.
Docmow -- does your car have the optional deluxe interior package? Plush cut carpet, wood like trim on door panels and console trim plate, carpet and trim on lower door panels? If so, your seating surfaces should be leather (bolsters and skirts are vinyl but look like leather). If you car does not have the deluxe interior, your seat upholstery should be comfort weave.

Docmow -- Comfortweave is a trade name. It's a vinyl thread which has been woven into a vinyl cloth. It's breathable since it allows air to circulate. GM used it in most everything they made. If you look at your seats, the seating surfaces should look like woven vinyl cloth. The skirts and bolsters should look like solid vinyl. On the other hand, leather upholstery does not have a weave to it. Sounds like you have the correct Comfortweave vinyl interior in your Corvette.
