My right turn signal stopped flashing  so I replaced the relay so I could get turn signal to work. I also replaced the socket for that bulb. But now the flashing only work  if I apply a lot of pressure to bulb. Once I let off the pressure the bulb stop flashing. I replaced the socket with factory socket for that car. I would appreciate any help I can get.

Thanks

Try replacing the bulb with a known good one.

Did the problem develop before or after the replacement of the socket with a new one?

Make sure you have the bulb properly oriented into the socket. You can get an 1157 in the wrong way.

The problem started when I replaced bulb. I replace with brand new auto zone bulb. If there is another brand bulb I should use let me know. I really appreciate the help!

I tried both ways. I guess it is a spring at the bottom of socket. Seems like the bulb is not engaging like it should? I bought two sockets and they both do the same thing. When I put pressure on the bulb...it works fine. When I release it or try to install back into taillight it stops working. Please help!

I recommend trying a better quality bulb for starters.
