Vette(s): 1972 Convertible, ontario orange, ps/pb/pw/air conditioning and 31,000 original miles.
I had to cut the bolt off of the number 4 rear right body mount. I've bought a new one. Do I drill out the rivits of the bracket and replace the old with the new and then rerivit the bracket back to the body? Thanks, David....

I was able to just cut the bolt. The bracket is OK.....thanks for the reply.

Best to replace the bracket. When you rivet the bracket back on use Aluminum rivets...the steel ones are too strong and will damage the fiberglass or you can use small bolts and nuts to fasten it back together.
