Hello,

I have the factory optional transistorized ignition on my 427 Vette.

My question is, can I use the MSD 8202 ignition coil as a replacement for the stock factory coil?

The 8202 is the same dimension physically as the current coil so that is not an issue.

On a Corvette Parts Online Site a replacement coil for my application costs $125.00.
