Vette(s): 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Riverside Red totally original w/ 58,000 miles. I also have both tops.
My spare tire was stolen from under my 64 Corvette. I am having a problem finding a replacement. A stock 15" Corvette wheel that will fit
a 1964. New or used it doesn't matter. I would appreciate any lead. It's for a spare. Thank you!

I bought my first corvette in 1969 when I got home from Vietnam. It was a 64 black with black interior. I owned the car for 30 years. I sold it to buy property. I had dreams that I still owned the car. I decided that I was going to have another before I left this world. I looked 3 years when I found this one in an estate auction in Rome Ga. I am elated with my buy. The first judged car show I entered it in, it won 1st place. I have always been into classic cars, and old rock and roll. I had a 40 year career in radio and television. My last gig was doing mornings on a local oldie station. It was a very exciting time. I never woke up in the morning not wanting to get up. Now, after retirement, I enjoy traveling and enjoy showing off my 64 vette!

Well that sucks! From what I've heard outfits that specialize in the used Corvette parts world are disappearing at an alarming rate, which is not good for folks with older cars. I don't know how interchangeable the wheels are with other GM models but that's where I would start - check the specs on your car's wheels (diameter, bolt pattern, offset, etc) and then look at the specs for other GM model wheels. Then check local salvage yards to see what they may have. Parts suppliers like Bair's Corvettes that have been around for a long time may be able to help you out. Good luck!
