Hi all, new to site. I tis possible I did not look good enough. I have a 1959 Chevrolet Corvette, it is in Canada now but originated from US. In Canada if the car is Canadian you can access a GM Build sheet with otpion codes, selling dealer info and more.
I am not sure if this is available in the United States. I am hoping to track down some historical information on my car, where it was sold, build etc. Appreciate any help.
This is the vin for the car

NCRS offers a "HIstorical Documents" service that can help find the original selling dealer/zone. There is a charge for that service if the info is available, but sometimes the data is just not there, or might be incomplete. Might be worth a shot. ??

Howdy - welcome aboard...!!!
It is common knowledge that GM/Chevrolet did not keep many, if any, production records until the Bowling Green plant opened in 1981. Other folks may have additional ideas but I would suggest contacting the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS) to see what info they may be able to share. (Double A beat me to that suggestion) I would also suggest reaching out to the National Corvette Museum (NCM) as they might have some information related to your car in their archives.
Good luck with your search...!!!
