2026 Gathering Hotel Info

We have secured a hotel for use as our "official" hotel for the 2026 Vette Registry Member Gathering.

You do not have to stay here to be part of the Gathering. Some folks are already local, will stay with friends or relatives, or find their own accommodations - which is fine.  Just note that we usually start our day from the hotel lot. (Details on that are forthcoming).

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Williamsburg

What they offer:

• Room Types: Mostly there are 2 Queen Standard rooms, but we have a handful of 1 King Suite Sofa Bed rooms if that is your preference. (looks like all the King rooms have already been claimed)
• Breakfast: Free "Deluxe Continental Breakfast" is available daily
• Parking: Free on-site parking
• 24-hour fitness center
• Heated Indoor Pool
• Freshly brewed coffee with a bean-to-cup coffee machine, available 24/7 in the lobby.
• Car Wash: There will be a hose available for our use

Block Rate & Room Details:

• We have a block of 25 rooms (to start, we can add more if needed)
• Default Dates of stay are Wednesday, April 29, 2026 - Sunday, May 3, 2026. These are the dates that it will default to when you use the booking link below. Make sure to update them if these will not be your stay dates.
• If you stay all 4 nights, the average nightly rate is $134.  If you only stay some of the nights, Weekday rate is: $109 / Weekend rate is: $159.
• The cut off date to book with the group is March 28, 2026. So book ASAP! You can always cancel without penalty up to 7 days before arrival (see full details below).
• Check-in: 3:00 PM
• Check-out: 12:00 PM

Important Hotel Policies:

• Cancellation Policy: (Entire Reservation): Guests can cancel their entire reservation without penalty up to 7 days before arrival. If a cancellation occurs within 7 days of arrival, a penalty of one night plus tax will be charged.
• Shorten Stay Policy: If a guest wants to lessen their stay after original booking, they can do so without penalty up to 48 hours before their arrival date. After which they will be charged for the full original booking (e.g., all 4 days).
• No-Show Policy: For no-shows, the guest will be charged for their entire original booked stay.
• Adding Days Policy: If a guest wants to add days to their stay, this will always be subject to availability at the time of their request.

After you book your hotel, please reply to this thread to say that you have booked your room, and please specify which type. (We need to keep track of how many rooms are claimed to make sure we hit the minimum 25 rooms, and make sure only our group is using them.)

Am I being paranoid or what. I went to make the hotel reservation using the link provided in this post. They wanted my social security number, mother’s maiden name, birthdate etc. Also wanted me to automatically become a “club” member. I think this is ridiculous just to make a reservation. Has everyone else that already made a reservation provide all this information? We will make a phone call to make our reservation.
