Okay, everybody and their brother paints their calipers red because the Z06's had them. I liked the painted caliper look but wanted something different from the others. I choose to paint mine white with red letters.

Here are a few pics of with them painted white and the new Z06 wheels & tires. Tell me what you think. Do they look okay or should I pull them and go with red or black.

Mind you that most of the time I run with a red bra on but for the winter storage months I have our black one on the car.

Thanks in advance for your input!

When they are clean, they look great.
When you drive them a few miles and they get dusty, it will be noticable.
I painted mine black.

Did you use high temperature paint?

I see your point Dennis, but its too cold....This GM leather bra is Hardcore..... Our C5 prefers the softer more sexy red nylon.....

Yep I sure did Dave Krylon High Temp. Same stuff I used on the engine tanks.

I have a trick for the brake dust. It is condensed air in a can. High pressure stuff that is used to clean computer keyboards, printers, etc. I keep it in the car cleaning travel bag.

Looks kewl there, Tux-man! IF they stay clean. Let us know how they look after a while. Chances are, the heat from braking is gonna turn them a different shade of white.
I think they do look good white, on the white car.

I like the look, it is different. You can get brake caliper paint as well, not sure if that would cut down on the discoloration...........
