The Z has a complete new SPEAKER system to go with the DVD, NAV, XM system... OH it sounds unreal....it raises the hair on my head... I changed the door speakers to
Boston Z6 series 6.5" with 1" tweeter
The Rear speakers are
Boston NX 57 -5 1/4"
Powered by a Boston GT-40 Amp
and for BASS
I had a CUSTOM subwoofer cabinet built with an embossed Z06 emblem above the sub in Red vinyl surround by Black carpet...
The AMP is mounted on the back side of the well.. the subwoofer is removable if I need space...but with the way this sounds I would hate to not have it so I will accomodate...
The subwoofer is a Boston Pro Series 12" up to 1200watts
The entire rear carpet has been taken up and EXTREME Dynamat has been installed to help with sound quality.... I am totally amazed.. yes I lost some space.. but its worth it... WOW is all I can say.. Like I said..It makes my hairs stand up...
