Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses. 2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
Found this story the other day.  Looks like the car sold.  The second link is for the completed e-bay auction. 
 
Feel bad for the guy that paid $30K in storage fees and had to give up the car...

Just re-read the story.  Not $30K, but $70K!!

Wait....you fell bad for the guy that STOLE the car?!? Confused I'd say he got what he deserved, regardless of the story about being forced to do it. He could have gone to the authorities at any time...unless it was the "Authorities" that he got mixed up with to begin with...which is not totally unheard of.
Sold for a little over $39,000, looks like. So apparently TWO people got screwed on the deal!LOL
