[QUOTE=rearn2go72] Times are tough guys. My guess is that he won't even get an opening bid. Here's a 74 that I was watching a few weeks back. All original with BB and 9,000 miles. Asking $34,000...high bid $7600.

Hey!!! That's the twin big brother to my car!
For one that's so "original", he sure has replaced a lot of stuff!!
He's aboot $10,000 too high, realistically.
Terry at Pro-Team has had a really SWEET, super low mile '74 convert for about 2 years now...same color and all....he thinks it's worth $29,000 for some reason....

No bids.
Give him a call and tell him you'll take it off his hands for $30K.
I'll help you drive it home.

This would definitely be different Larry and just think....a 9 sec. daily driver.
My best guess is sub 10 seconds, although I haven't timed it myself. The previous owner told me he did a 1/4 mile in 9.6 seconds, and when I took the car for a prepurchase inspection, I asked the owner of the shop (Laughton, at the Corvette in San Diego), the same question. He said he thought it would do under 10 seconds no problem at all.
Any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
thanks,
Ben

Life is short. If you can't get the car out of your mind then you should get it for yourself.
