Vette(s): It's a 1976 L-48 auto Red with Firethorn and white delux interior, 68,000 miles. I have tried to restore it to NCRS specs and have recieved 1 Bronze 3 Silver, 1 Gold Spinner and Top Gun, Best C3 Vette at Chicago's Chevy/Vette Fest.
When they were called Sting Rays, (two words), 1963 was the first year with 1967 being the last. The 1968 Corvette did not have the word Sting Ray or Stingray on it. 1969 was the first year of the Stingray, (one word) with 1976 being the last year. 1977 and on did not have the Stingray designation in either form on it Its amazing the stuff you can pick up during a restoration. If I am wrong, please feel free to correct it. I am a bit under the weather with the flu and I am a bit foggy right now.

I believe you are correct, Greg. My '65 had "Sting Ray" and the '69 has "Stingray."
