For those who attended the 2007 Member's Gathering in Carson City, NV one of the drives was going up to Virginia City. Part of that drive was going up a rather fun uphill stretch of twisty road that I'm sure would have been a lot more fun at a greater rate of speed. For two years in a row a 2010 ZR-1 has been the quickest ride up the hill. The car is featured in the current issue of CORVETTE MAGAZINE.
The record btw was set in a slightly modified Ferrari F-40 - just under 3:10:53 back in 2002. To join the 341 Club you need to make the run in 3:41 or less (3:41 is an 85 mph AVERAGE for the 5.2 mile course). PIECE OF CAKE...!!!
