Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!
I drove by a car lot yesterday and was amazed. It was an independent, not a Chevrolet Dealer. There out front was a new C6. Of course I stopped to look. Very impressive. I still prefer the styling and feel of the C3, but not way would I turn down the C6. I wish I could have drove it. I wonder how they got it?
On the "Tail of the Dragon"
(some day, no strike that, October 2008 it turned red, still in progress!)

Saw a red C-6 @ NCRS Regional this past weekend,in the parking lot of the hotel. Got a few pics. Also saw a silver vert. earlier this year. Gotta say the red one isn't as good lookin' as the "Daytona Sunset Orange". That's a really good lookin' Vette. I think the darker colors are gonna make the car look worse than it really is. I also have driven many diff. C-5s, and wouldn't trade my '74 for two of them. ( I might trade the '85, though!) Maybe the C-6 will bring me into the 21st cent?!! I like the older Vettes, end of story. |hammer| |thumb| |bouncy|

I too saw a red C-6 last weekend in a parking lot. stopped to see. I think it is a very good looking car. in fact, I like it alot but it's not what I'm looking for in "my car". I'll keep my 79 and work to get it where I want.

After Shark said: I know its a Vette and I'm happy that the Tradition still lives today, but I don't like the looks of the new C6.

Sorry its too much of a mix between a viper, ferrari and a Infinity G35, IMOO!

I would rather own a 95 or 96 C4.

I've been behind the wheel of a C5 and no doubt it out performs any of the other earlier corvettes, but I don't get the feeling I get when behind the wheel of my C3.

Anyone feel the same.

I agree. I can't warm up to the headlights either. The hide-a-ways seem to me like a trditional trademark even though they didn't start that way. I also prefer the C-3's and C-2's but, I love them all anyway. |saluteflag| |cheers|

Saw my first C6 at Carlisle in August. Actually saw about 12 of them there. All different colors, including Miss Vicky's pink one.
Like Corvettes before, drastic changes are resisted by Corvette lovers at first, but eventually the style grows on you.
I didn't like the 63 split window when it was first introduced, but would sure love to own one now.
Didn't like the 84 when it first appeared, and still don't. Oh well.
Didn't like the exposed headlights on the C6, but I think I will get used to them.
Now the local used car dealer who has lots of Corvettes has a 2005 yellow one sitting out front. Looks really cool. Would make a great driver. |smokin|

Still love my C3 the best. |bouncy|

And I know mine has already fully depreciated and is starting back up the value/price graph. |thumb|

Vette(s): 1972 coupe/350 cid/mild cam/4 spd/20 ft. paint (looks perfect from 20 ft.), but it sure runs nice.
The person responsible for that stunt has a real sick sense of humor. |biggrin|

Aww, c'mon Ben! We like your humor! At least some of the time!
BTW, my son works for a dealer, the cars were at VIR and he drove a couple! This is the little s,,, that used to sneak my '73 out when I was out of town! He also got to put an SSR out on the track and thrash it!
He had to keep the vette under 100mph.
There is no justice in this world! |cussing|
