I wave to all generations. I think it is people that have their first corvette mostly that don't wave because they don't know your supposed to.

I find myself waving at cars that, it turns out as they get closer....aren't even 'Vettes! I just have the mentality of waving at ALL of them, and the C5/C6s, from a distance, and, more pertinant, with old man eyeballs, seem to look like Camaros, or even...shudder...Mitsubishis
!! I'll guarantee ya, those guys don't have a clue to why the guy in the Corvette waved at them!!!
So...I have started waiting until I can actually verify their Corvetteness before I wave!

I 1st experienced the wave several years ago. It is one of the reasons I own corvetes yet today. no oter vheicle shares the same sense of pride among owners as a vette. This is displayed in the wave and the smile on their faces.

Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

I got my first wave within hours of buying my car, from a yellow C6, and I've been waving since!
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
