Rare C3?

I was told this vehicle is quite rare (1982, 1G1AY8780C5111378).  It's the Gold on Tan combo, was there a limited release of this color combo (only 52?)?  It has an l83 with MXO auto, power everything, crossfire injection.

Yes.  Looks like the color code was "56" and the run on this Y87 in gold was 648 units.

That exterior color could only be had with the Camel(tan), or Silver Grey interior.
Gm had trouble with the Gold colors in Bowling Green for several years....just didn't turn out very well.
While it does make it a "rare" color, as far as numbers go, that in itself doesn't always make it a more desirable car. It all just depends on how well you like it, and that's really all that matters.
