OK Gang, We hit 50 degrees today in Anchorage and the wife wanted a driving lesson, we uncovered the Corvette and headed south. OMG this car is something else, I have never driven a vehicle with so much grace, her new tires just hugged the road, the wife could not believe how quite the car was, no yelling at each other..We both can't wait for the road trip to Carson City.. The car is ready, note the Bra, no rock chips for this one.
. I also covered all exposed areas that could get rock chips with 3M clear coat tape. Come on father time lets get going can't wait..

P.S. She never did get her driving lesson, I would not give up the wheel..

Wow Terry she's a beauty
So I guess you broke free of the permafrost up there huh

I'm scared to death to think of all the rock chips I'm gonna get going to CC. I talked to a friend at a dealership about that white plastic covering material they use when shipping new cars. He said he didn't know of anyone who sold anything like that. And besides it sticks with glue so wouldn't be a good option. One salesman jokinging suggested wrapping the front end in SeranWrap. Anyone have any better ideas?
