Vette(s): 1980 Red T-Top with 42000 miles. No modifications and will probably stay that way.
I would suspect that the damage on the passenger side behind the door was from the rescue personnel using the "Jaws of Life" to do the extraction of someone in the vehicle. The cut lines seem very straight and purposeful. IMHO

If the car was "written off" by the insurance company the buyer may never be able to afford to get it registered as a road worthy vehicle. There is a real nice Corvette sitting in a guy's commercial shop that was sold as good to go but it had been written off and he can't get it registered. Way too nice to part out but I don't know what else this guy can do.

And at $2,250, the reserve is not met!  What goes through people's minds?

Vette(s): 1981 - 59 Beige over Cinnebar leather. Edlebrock top end, 2200 stall w/shift kit, 3:55s, Mufflex maniback exhaust, nice stereo, 16 in AREs w/BFGs
On the exterior theres nothing usable
On the interior all the main items are bad.  I can just about guarentee this was a hazmat clean out due to body fluids

The money is in the motor but whats the motor worth?
The VIN tag aint worth crap. Nor is the detail tags.  Its a base motor small block and you cant clone a Vette

If you need a date correct motor and trans, theres no VINs on these yet and I bet if they are good, they have a 6k tag on em and the rest of the car is free..
