New catalog supplier for Corvettes...

I spoke with the dude from Year One at Carlise last year...asked him if they were getting into Vette parts. He said " We're thinking about it". Well, I guess they thought real hard. At that time I was kinda think'n that they would be crazy to try and break into this market, but what the hell....everybody else sells the stuff, what's one more?

I guess competition is a good thing, and who knows, maybe the biz will get better now that a new comer is on the scene.

I looked around after asking the question, and said to myself....they're missing the boat.....they have to, I'll bet a lot of the other GM parts cross over anyway.  

Ok, Ok, I'm gonna order a catalog  too.................................

I tried to order online but I am don't want to give them my phone number. I can see no reason for them to ask for that information. I may call them and order the catalog. 

I did call.  I asked why the phone number.  They said it was for tracking or correcting possible order problems.

I called and ordered mine.  They asked for the phone number and I said "I'm not going to get a bunch of calls, am I?"  

He said no, then said I didn't have to give it, so I didn't.  You might try it, maybe you'll get the same guy.

When I worked for Fed EX, companies like summit, jegs, year one, usually put the persons phone number on the package so that if the driver cannot locate that persons home, they can call the number and talk to the recipient for better directions. I found it to be very helpful when I delivered and got the package to the customer faster if they have a hard to find house.
