Don't go new. How about a 1956 - 57 Chevy Bel Air?? Huge trunk, gobbs of room inside, collector car, increases in value and just an all round good family car. You could beef up the suspension a bit too for grins!

BMW?
Uh, yeah.........I'm sure there's a million '57 BelAirs in Belgium!!
But seriously, Norbert, why would you want a Musturd?? If you would consider a BMW, why not a Cadillac XLR? 'Vette chassis, convertible, built in Bowling Green, about the same money as the Beemer.($60,000-$70,000) Adams' Apple38758.7690856481

If I lived in Belgium, I think I would have something that deals with the weather conditions. My wife's daughter bought a H3 Hummer. I believe it's on a Chevy Trailblazer chassie, with a 5 cylinder engine. She gets great gas milage, it's comfortable with leather seats in front and rear, and big enough to be safe in a hard fender bender. My .02

Thanx,thanx... for your good advise.

Joel , i know the Cadillac but already peeked once and as far i see here in Belgium there's only a aut. version for the V8 engine. I want a manual !!! , never drove a aut and don't want it , never.( because i'm a macho ?  ) So also i surched a C3 with manual ! And i want a muscle car , 250 HP for the cadillac are a bit to tight.Remember a BMW M5 has now 500 HP ( V10 engine).... ( OK, 95.000 euro = 115.000 $) a lot of money for a car...

I dreamed of a Mustang Shelby ....witch i believe would be there in 2006 ? SO, guy's , WHY are you , ok , GM VETTE fans, a bit not so lovely against musturds ???????????? What have they done wrong ???

Here whe both love them , mustangs and vettes..... , mustangs aren't imported in europe by Ford for the moment so i have eventually to buy it via import : again $$$$$....

Why not have the 2 legends in house ? Doesn't it take a mongoose to kill a cobra....

And ok, a vintage car for daily use...., fuel consumption,liability...i don't see my surching a dealer in Italy or France with a broken waterpump for my chevy bel air..... OYEAH , with a girlfriend in my twenties.....

SHOOT ! why not a shelby.....

Everyone has to admit that FORD hit a long ball with the new Mustang.  I think the new Challenger and Camaro (IF it ever hits the streets) will give the pony a run for its money though.  The latest HOT ROD magazine has the best article I've seen so far on them.

My bride's eldest brother is the 5th in line at his favorite FORD dealer for the new Shelby GT500.  When he pulls up in the driveway with it is when I'll believe he actually went through with the purchase.  He won't drop a penny into putting his '70 AMX back on the road (it's been wasting away in storage for 20 years AND he won't sell it either - I tried to buy it from him before I got "The Toy") and he expects us to believe he's going to drop $40k+ on a new hot ride?!?!?  Like I said I've got to be able to sit behind the wheel before I'll believe it.

"The Toys"...!!!  Save the Wave!

Wow who ran over my truck with a steam-roller

Heres a picture of the real truck, and my 6'4", 260 lbs son fits really nice in the back seat.  I'm sure you would have no problem on the roads there in the winter in a 4 wheel drive
