GUYS AND GALS----------

I WAS PULLING UP TO PARK LAST NIGHT FOR THE KANSAS CITY CORVETTE ASSOCIATION MONTHLY MEETING.  SOME FELLOW WAS THERE WITH A WEEK OLD Z06, IT WAS GORGEOUS.  I FELL INSTANTLY IN LOVE WITH THIS VEHICLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I HATE THE STRAIGHT C-6, BUT THE Z06 IS SOMETHING ELSE.  I CAN AFFORD IT, I JUST DON'T KNOW IF I WANT TO.  HAVE A 2003 COUPE A 72 CONVERTIBLE WE HAVE JUST STARTED TO RESTORE.  WHEN IS ENOUGH, ENOUGH?  SAY THEY ARE OFFERING THE DEALERS IN KC $15,000 TO 20,OOO FROM CALIFORNIA, OVER STICKER.  DON'T KNOW IF I COULD GET ONE IF I WANTED TO, WON'T PAY OVER STICKER.

I would think it won't be too long before Z06's are available with low mileage for more reasonable prices once some with more money than ability who bought them new find out they can't safely handle the 500+ horsepower.

Years ago when the movie "Dirty Harry" came out, Smith & Wesson Model 29 .44 magnums suddenly took off in price and were hard to find. After many buyers discovered they couldn't handle the recoil of the .44 Magnum, they suddenly found their way to the used market at much more reasonable prices. The same may happen with the new Z06.

LS7....505HP....what's not to like?! Oh, yeah, that little piddly problem of $$$$$$$$!!
I really like the C6, much better than the C5, but I don't think I would ever really want to own one. Thinking about a lease, tho!
