The Corvette club I belong to, Classic Corvettes of Minnesota, held one of the largest all-Corvette shows in Minnesota last weekend (260+Corvettes). "The Admiral" and I won an outstanding in show award on Saturday in our group (91-96 model years) and a gold award, scoring 143.5 out of a possible 150 points, in the street/show class on Sunday. This the first time I have entered the car in a show and had it judged..all in all a most excellent weekend! Outstanding in show is actually second place. Best in show was won by a '96 grand sport that looked like it had just be driven from the showroom.
Yes, I know this is a C3 site, but I have a lot of friends on this site from my C3 days and I thought I would post this FYI.
There is no substitute for low end torque!
