One of these coupes had a black hood accent but I cannot say the others had a similiar treatment.
srj jr here... just saw half a truck load of yellow 08's tonight(tuesday) in Manchester Tn,  about 140 miles south of Bowling Green.  The driver was staying at a Ramada Inn, sooo, i decided to go investigate.  The yellow's had a black stinger type paint job on the hood, and partially on the roof(best i could see).. and had a fender badge ZHZ,  sooo did a little online snooping,  come to find out, these are for Hertz rental agencies... the ZHZ, HZ standing for Hertz(if you are familiar with the measurement Hertz, its abbreviated HZ..(those of you that aren't familiar with the measurement of Hertz, well.. its a unit of cylcle, such as AC current is at 60 Hertz per second, meaning it alternates back and forth 60 times a second...), anyhow, just thought i'd help out with the scooby doo mystery.. :)

We may have a winner!
The only thing I could find for Hertz using Corvettes was for Convertibles, tho.
This does seem to be the answer to the mystery, anyway!
Thanx Jimmy!

Aha!  Hertz!!  Makes sense.  Thanks StingrayJim.

FWIW:  I haven't seen any additional transporters this week or last.
